Being a massage therapist is just a job for some, but for BOND Wellness Studios Owner and Licensed Massage Therapist, Michelle Geraci, the healing arts is a calling. She is passionately dedicated and committed to our client's health and well being. With over 15 years of experience, Michelle has worked countless on-site events, taught massage therapy at a local technical college and has built her own practice from the ground up. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and then in 2003 she completed her massage therapy training at American Institute of Massage in Richmond, VA (now Lotus School of Integrated Professions). She is also a wife, proud mom of three beautiful children and is driven to provide a special and unique place for her clients to heal. BOND Wellness Studios SOUTH is Michelle's 2nd location, but first in the Southside of Richmond near where she grew up. Her original practice BOND Wellness Studios WEST (formerly AbSOULute Massage LLC) is still thriving on 8921 Three Chopt Road Suite 101 (new location) in the West End.

BOND Wellness Studios: Policies

Cancellation & Late & Prepaid Package Policies

Late Policy: We are happy to see clients past their scheduled appointment time, but the service will be deducted amount of time late from time allotted for the service.
Cancellation Policy: You must cancel at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. We reserve the right to charge $50 for appointments cancelled or missed appointments within 24 hours.  This includes clients using gift certificates and pre-paid packages. We appreciate your understanding since our only inventory is our time.
Prepaid Package Policies: Massage packages are offered at a discount when a client purchases multiple massages upfront. These packages were created as an incentive to honor massages for yourself on a regular basis. The pre-paid packages are for the one person with whom they are purchased for and are not to be shared. Packages are offered in (3) three and (6) six prepaid massage package options. The (3) three massage packages are to be used within 6 months of initial purchase. The balance will be forfeited if not used within this time. The (6) six massage package must be used within (1) one year from initial purchase date.  The balance will be forfeited if not used within this time. Massage Prepaid Package policies are also subject to all other office policies such as cancellation and late policies. 

Professional Environment

We pride ourselves on providing professional, therapeutic and wellness services. If at anytime a client's behavior is inappropriate, you will be asked to leave immediately and will be responsible for paying for service in full. 

What to expect

  • A confidential initial consultation regarding your health history, current ailments and health goals. During your initial appointment the intake could take up to 15-20 minutes depending on your health history and goals.
  • A private room where you can undress to your comfort level 
  • Sheets & blankets to drape over you before and during your massage 
  • A secure environment and comfortable table lie on 
  • The use of professional massage lotions 
  • A Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) who wants your treatment enjoyable, therapeutic and relaxing 
  • A post consultation with the therapist covering any specific tension areas noticed as well as discuss future muscle health goals.
